Motorized boat shuttles from La Paz

***Please NOTE new regulations from the Mexican government just announced starting December 20th, 2018. EVERYONE going to Espiritu Santo Island will need a local guide. We are no longer able to provide unguided self-supported trips. However you will still be able to rent equipment from us and do your own trip but you will now need to hire a local guide to accompany you. This came about due to abuse of the island and the regulations by visitors. Please contact our La Paz office for guide pricing.

For the windy months of Dec, Jan and Feb, we only offer skiff shuttles to Espiritu Santo Island due to safety concerns.

All boat shuttles to the island must leave La Paz prior to 12 noon. The sea lion rookery is located at the northern end of the island and takes a minimum of 1 1/2 hours and maximum of 3 hours from La Paz to get there all depending on the roughness of the sea. Please arrange a specific time and date with our La Paz office for your shuttle to the island.

Combinations of any of the above are no problema! Maximum number of persons per skiff or vehicle is 6. With 7 or more another skiff or vehicle is required and the same prices apply. Please be prepared to be flexible when scheduling skiff shuttles, as all shuttle arrangements are subject to change depending on the weather.

If you would like us to provide shuttle service to the island but are not renting kayaks from us there is a 50% surcharge on the shuttle cost.
