Booking a Quick Getaway or Expedition

RESERVATIONS:

You can make a non-refundable deposit for an Expedition or Quick Getaway to secure your space by filling out our online reservation form. We will e-mail you the link to do this once we know there is availability on the trip. If you have any questions, need help choosing a trip, or would prefer making your reservation by phone, we can be reached at 800-355-7140 or 406-522-7596. Reservations are on a first-come basis and subject to space availability. Once you have submitted the form and made your payment, we will e-mail you a confirmation with your paid invoice and other information regarding your trip. Once we receive your payment and you have your flight reservations made, please submit your trip application and agree to the sign the waiver in Baja. The link to do this is at the bottom of this page. A suggested list of clothing and equipment to bring can be printed from the trip application page. Please make sure we receive your application no later than 3 weeks before your trip. For your convenience, you may wish to print the La Paz city map that shows exactly where Mar Y Aventuras and Posada LunaSol are located and points of interest in La Paz.

TRIP DEPOSIT FOR EXPEDITIONS AND GETAWAYS:

A non-refundable deposit of $200 is required to secure a space for each person on an expedition or getaway if it is more than 60 days before the trip.

FINAL TRIP PAYMENT IS DUE 60 DAYS PRIOR TO TRIP DEPARTURE FOR EXPEDITIONS AND QUICK GETAWAYS

TRIP PAYMENTS MADE BY CHECK :

Make your check payable to Sea & Adventures, Inc., and mail to P.O. Box 6673, Bozeman, MT 59771-6673. Please let us know what trip you are booking and include your e-mail, address and phone and we will e-mail you a confirmation.

TRIP PAYMENTS MADE BY CREDIT CARD:

We accept MASTERCARD and VISA. For online reservations, please request our secure reservation form and we will e-mail you the link to do this online. If you prefer, you may call us with your credit card information.

TRIP CONFIRMATION:

Once we receive your deposit or payment in full we will send you an e-mail confirmation with information on where to find your trip information on our website and instructions for submitting your trip application and agreeing to sign the waiver in Baja.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If you need to cancel a trip for any reason, notify us in writing. Upon receipt of your written cancellation, the following charges will apply:

• $200/person handling fee is non-refundable at any time.
• Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to trip departure will be charged 100% of the trip cost unless we are able to rebook your space.
• You may apply the cost from a canceled trip to another trip within one year of the canceled trip date with an additional $100 charge.
• We reserve the right to cancel the trip if the minimum of 4-6 passengers is not met 30 days prior to departure and you will be given a full refund.

Trip Insurance:

• To protect yourself in case of any last minute emergencies, we recommend that you purchase travel insurance through Travel Insurance Services (800-937-1387).

Documents:

Everyone is required to have a passport to enter Mexico as of January 1, 2007. On the plane or crossing the border you will be given a tourist visa to fill out. Please do not lose your copy as you will be asked to present it when you leave the country or pay a fine.

Passengers Under 18 years of age:

If you are bringing a minor to Mexico without both legal parents traveling together, a notarized affidavit from the absent parent allowing the minor to be taken into Mexico is required. This also applies to minors traveling with friends and/or relatives who are not the legal parents.

Acknowledgment of Risk and Release of Liability (Waiver):

Our insurance requires that all participants sign our waiver form before participating on a trip. Safety is our first concern at all times yet due to the nature of the activities it is necessary for you to sign our form in acknowledgment of the risks and release of liability. This form is on the application/waiver page of our website. We will ask you to sign it in Baja before your trip. Refusal to sign the form will prevent you from participating on the trip.

Drugs:

Mexico has strict laws regarding the possession of illegal drugs. Please be sure any medication you bring is in its original prescription bottle or package.

Health Information:

The country of Mexico, including Baja, has a high incidence of Hepatitis A, a contagious liver disease. While we take all precautionary steps to prevent the spread of Hepatitis A at our hotel and on our trips for complete protection we recommend our clients get vaccinated for Hepatitis A, readily available at most health clinics. Check with your physician for more information.
